Carnaval Scratchcard from Caleta Gaming takes the colour of a Brazilian carnival and puts it into an instant-win scratchcard format. Instead of spinning reels, you reveal symbols and look for three identical ones. It combines a published 96% RTP with high volatility and a 10,000x maximum win.
Gameplay and Theme
The game is classed as a slot and video slot, but the scratchcard layout sets it apart from standard reel games. The setting is a Brazilian celebration, with samba dancers and bright festival imagery as the main symbols.
The core mechanic is simple: reveal the card and hit three identical symbols to win a prize based on your total bet. With no reels or paylines, rounds are quick and easy to follow. Check the in-game paytable for the prize values attached to each symbol.
Math Profile: RTP, Volatility and Max Win
The official published RTP is 96%. This is a long-term theoretical average across a very large number of rounds, not a prediction for a single session. Operators can offer different RTP versions of the same game, so confirm the figure in the in-game info screen before you play.
What High Volatility Means
High volatility means wins tend to arrive less often but can be larger when they land. Expect uneven stretches, including long runs of unmatched cards. Players with small bankrolls may find the swings hard to sustain.
Max Win and Bankroll Planning
The maximum win is 10,000x the bet. Reaching it is a rare event, so it should not shape your budget. A sensible approach is to set a session budget in advance, choose a stake that allows many rounds, and stop when the budget is spent. Fast scratchcard rounds can drain a balance quicker than you expect.
Fairness, Licensing and Responsible Play
Online games like this use a random number generator (RNG) to determine outcomes. Independent testing labs such as eCOGRA, iTech Labs and BMM Testlabs check that RNG output is statistically random and that a game's real payout behaviour matches its stated RTP. Their reports are a useful sign of a fair operation.
Before depositing, check that the casino holds a valid licence from a recognised regulator, such as the MGA or UKGC. The licence details are normally shown in the site footer, and you can confirm them with the regulator.
Gambling is for adults aged 18 or over and should be treated as entertainment, not income. Use deposit and time limits, never chase losses, and seek support from organisations such as BeGambleAware if play stops being enjoyable.
