KONG is a video slot from JDB Gaming that blends a pirate and jungle setting, with Skeleton Island as its backdrop. It pairs a low-volatility profile with a published maximum win of 16800x the stake. This review explains how the game plays, what the numbers mean for your bankroll, and which safety checks matter before you spin.
Gameplay and Features
KONG is built around wilds and a free games round, the two mechanics that shape most of its action. Wilds substitute for regular symbols to complete winning combinations, while the free games round gives players a chance to collect extra spins without a further stake on each one.
The visual theme draws on swashbuckling pirates and overgrown jungle ruins, which suits the game's lighter, steady rhythm. Check the in-game paytable for the exact reel layout, payline setup and the rules that trigger the free games.
Free Demo
A free demo of KONG is available on this site. Playing it first is a sensible way to see how often wins land, how the free games behave and whether the pace suits you before you consider playing for real money.
Math Profile: RTP, Volatility and Max Win
The official published RTP is 95.89%. This is a theoretical long-run figure across a very large number of spins, not a prediction for a single session. Operators can offer different RTP versions of the same game, so confirm the figure in the in-game info screen at your chosen casino.
Volatility is low, which usually means more frequent but smaller payouts. For bankroll planning, that tends to suit players who prefer longer sessions and gentler balance swings, with modest stakes relative to their budget.
The maximum win is 16800x the stake. That ceiling is a rare outcome, and with a low-volatility design most of the play will revolve around smaller, regular returns instead.
Fairness, Licensing and Safe Play
Online slots use a random number generator to determine each outcome. Independent testing labs such as eCOGRA, iTech Labs and BMM Testlabs examine RNG behaviour, game logic and payout accuracy to confirm results are random and match the stated math.
Before depositing, check that the casino holds a valid licence from a recognised regulator such as the MGA or UKGC, and that the licence details appear in the site footer. Terms, withdrawal rules and the RTP version should also be easy to find.
Gambling is for adults aged 18 or over. Set deposit and time limits, decide on a budget before you start, never chase losses, and use the casino's self-exclusion tools if play stops being enjoyable. Organisations such as BeGambleAware offer free support.
